Nobel K-Series installed at Lochgreen House Hotel

Lochgreen House Hotel is a charming Ayrshire mansion house hotel bought and lovingly restored in 1989. It sits in thirty acres of woodland and gardens parallel to Royal Troon Golf Course on the historic Ayrshire coast.

Its restaurant is heralded as one of the finest in the Ayrshire region with menus consisting of both modern and classical dishes. The restaurant now boasts 3 AA Red Rosettes.

In keeping with its policy of providing the best facilities and to ensure the smooth, continued running of the business, the restaurant kitchen has recently been installed with a Nobel Fire Systems, K-Series fire suppression system.

Acknowledged as being one of Europe’s premier kitchen and galley fire suppression systems, Nobel’s K-Series offers unrivalled capabilities and service and provides full protection to all required appliances, extract canopy and ductwork. Where necessary, protection can be extended to prevent fire spread through the ductwork to adjacent or adjoining areas.

A particular advantage of the K-Series for Lochgreen House Hotel is the aesthetic appearance of the system. In keeping with the clean lines of the restaurant kitchen, K-Series is manufactured in stainless steel and pipework, nozzles, fire detection and controls have been installed in complete sympathy with the rest of the kitchens appearance.

Another big customer benefit is that unlike other ‘mechanical’ systems, the electrical nature of Nobel’s K-Series ensures that all circuits can be fully monitored for potential fault conditions.
All Nobel K-Series fire protection systems are engineered to meet the specific individual requirements of the kitchen being protected. The systems are electronically controlled with no mechanical moving parts.
