Nobel Fire Systems, now appearing at your local cinema
Britain’s largest cinema chain Odeon, has radically refurbished its site at Whiteleys Shopping Centre in Bayswater and has now become a boutique cinema with five screens and reclining leather seats. Not only that, while watching the latest blockbusters, audiences will also be able to dine in the comfort of their cinema seat. Hot food such as fried squid and venison chilli is freshly cooked on-site and served straight from the kitchen to the audience.
As the kitchen is on-site, great care has been taken to ensure full protection against all possible fire risks with the owners being mindful of the fact that in the highly combustible environment of a commercial kitchen, the safety of audiences and staff is of paramount importance.
To ensure full protection Britain’s leading fire suppression company, Nobel Fire Systems has fitted its K-Series fire suppression system in this extremely busy kitchen. Not only does the K-Series system meet all fire suppression requirements, it also complies with the aesthetic qualities required by the owners with no ugly pipework to be boxed in or protruding nozzles on show.
Despite a demanding budget for the project, Nobel Fire Systems has been able to provide the Odeon cinema with full protection to all kitchen cooking appliances, extract canopy and ductwork. Another important factor was the speed and efficiency with which Nobel was able to install the system and with minimum disruption at the time of installation.
