Jamie Oliver
Meeting Fire Protection Requirements and Aesthetic Qualities
Jamie Oliver was opening the Kingston-upon-Thames restaurant in his chain of Jamie’s Italians and the catering designers needed a fire suppression system to meet the high design standards of the kitchen as a whole.
The stainless steel kitchen environment is designed to provide both functionality and good looks – giving the restaurant staff a kitchen to be proud of. Not surprisingly, having designed the kitchen, the catering specialists didn’t then want to compromise the look of it by fitting a fire suppression system that jarred with the aesthetics.
The Nobel Fire Systems K-Series was chosen as it not only clearly met the fire protection requirements but also all the aesthetic qualities required, and the Company already had an enviable reputation for product efficiency and levels of service within the catering industry.
