Royal Brewery
Producing Approximately 700 Million Pints Every Year
The Royal Brewery, in Moss Side, Manchester is the home of many of the leading drink brands and has been around for well over 100 years. It produces approximately 700 million pints every year including Fosters, Kronenburg, Miller and Strongbow. Any disruption in production would clearly result in a lot of very disappointed consumers.
So when it came to the protection of numerous switchgear and transformer rooms across the site, this famous old brewery turned to Nobel to design and install a fire suppression system that meets the highest levels of efficiency and protection.
After taking into consideration the specific type of fire risk, all physical constraints, building structure and location, Nobel designed and installed an Argon-Nitrogen Inert Gas clean agent system that meets all practical issues and economic considerations.
The end result is that the Royal Brewery now have multiple systems that provide full fire protection to a number of business critical control and switchgear rooms.
