Nobel Fire Systems Acquires Long-Standing Marine Partner, Marine Fire Safety
Nobel Fire Systems, a UK-based leader in ‘special risk’ fire suppression systems, is proud to announce the acquisition of Marine Fire Safety, a trusted provider of firefighting and lifesaving equipment for the marine industry. This acquisition represents the next step in a long-standing partnership between the two companies, with Marine Fire Safety serving as Nobel Fire Systems’ exclusive UK marine distributor for many years.
Ian Bartle, Managing Director at Nobel Fire Systems, commented:
“This acquisition is a natural progression for both businesses, built on years of successful collaboration. Marine Fire Safety has been instrumental in extending our high-quality fire suppression systems to the marine sector, particularly the Stat-X condensed aerosol suppression system. By joining forces, we’re creating a stronger, more integrated offering for our customers while maintaining the exceptional standards for which both companies are known.”
Marine Fire Safety has built an excellent reputation for its expertise in marine safety; supplying, installing, and maintaining lifesaving and firefighting equipment. The acquisition will provide Marine Fire Safety access to Nobel Fire Systems’ advanced technologies, including Stat-X and Nobel’s proprietary K-Series galley kitchen suppression system, along with expanded resources to enhance service delivery.
Mark Bresnahan, Managing Director at Marine Fire Safety, added:
“Having worked closely with Nobel Fire Systems for many years, this partnership feels like a natural evolution. Together, we can leverage Nobel’s technical capabilities and operational scale to expand our reach domestically and overseas and enhance our offerings, all while continuing to prioritize our customers’ safety and satisfaction.”
Mark Bresnahan has joined Nobel Fire Systems’ board and management team following the acquisition.
Both companies will maintain their independent operations as separate legal entities, ensuring continuity for customers while gradually exploring synergies to strengthen their combined capabilities. With plans to expand staffing and operations, this partnership signals a commitment to innovation and growth in the marine and land-based special risk fire suppression sectors.
