PVStop Nominated for Multiple Industry Awards

We are delighted to announce our partner PVStop has been nominated for multiple awards in the industry.

After years of hard work raising awareness of the unmitigated risks of Solar PV Arrays, the team at PVStop are now receiving industry recognition for their solar safety solution.

This year they have been nominated as a top three finalist in the 2018 SafeWork NSW Award for Best Solution to an Identified Workplace Health and Safety Issue. Although the team narrowly missed out on scooping the top prize, they were up against some very tough competition and it was great to see them recognised amongst a high calibre of competitors in the industry.

The PVStop team were also finalists in the 2018 Fire Protection Association Awards for the Innovative Product and Technology Award. This award recognises new or emerging products and technologies that provide innovative solutions for new and existing fire safety and fire protection industry risks and/or activities.

In addition, the London Fire Brigade have been nominated for the UK Fire and Emergency Awards 2018 Innovation of the Year Award for their deployment of PVStop.

It’s been a very busy year for Nobel Fire Systems and PVStop and we are delighted to see this fantastic product – the only product available globally that isolates the power produced by solar panels at panel level – has been recognised in the industry.

We are looking forward to continuing working with the team at PVStop into 2019 and beyond. We will continue to roll out PVStop to all fire and emergency services agencies offering a safe and effective solution to the ever-increasing risks associated with solar PV systems, improving fire fighter safety and making solar energy safe for communities.
